Blake + Cameron | a styled shoot with Floravore at Horseshoe Bend in Glacier, WA

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again; waking up at 4 am can be a good thing, let me tell ya.

Sweet Olivia from Floravore and I had been wanting to collaborate together on a styled shoot for such a long time; we finally did, and I’m a bit obsessed. I hit the thrift stores for a week solid as Olivia dug through her own belongings, hitting a thrift store in the time being as well. With a $5 gown, a previously thrifted fringe jacket, a $4 men’s shirt, $5 khakis, Olivia’s amazing florals (most she grew herself, I’d like to add) and styling skills, and the sweetest couple ever - Blake and Cameron, we threw together one of my favorite styled shoots… well, ever.

We met with sleepy eyes at 5 am in the Graham’s park lot around Glacier, WA, then caravanned a few more miles down Mt Baker Highway to the pullout at Horseshoe Bend. Blake and Cameron brought their *adorable* 7-month old golden retriever, Aspen, and she cuddled up for some photos too (all while attempting to eat the… seemingly yummy… floral arrangements… and trying not to fall asleep because we made her wake up at 4 am). Logan watched after the pup while we trekked down to the river. When we made it back to the trail, Olivia had set up a whole dang living room for us. Mornings like this one remind me why I love the path we’re pursuing; cultivating friendships with strangers, and just having a good time.

I cannot speak highly enough of Olivia; you can tell just how passionate she is about her work and her clients through her energy (even at 5 am). I’m so stoked that we finally got to work together, and would work with her a million times over in the future if I got the chance.
